What do you get when you cross a washing machine with a toilet?

Behold, the Washup washing machine-toilet by Sevin Coskun.

It's a washing machine, somewhat inconveniently located behind a toilet. Why? So that the water from the washing machine can be used to flush the loo.

You can actually already do that with a grey water tank, hidden neatly out of sight, but that wouldn't be worth entering in a green design competition, now would it? Still, it's a neat-looking machine and would be a real space-saver in a teeny tiny apartment.
