Sarah Palin, fur and vikingsA couple of weird pictures I encountered today. First, one from Air New Zealand's US advertising campaign. Because all healthy Californian vegetarians will surely jump at the chance to travel to carnivorous New Zealand and change their carrot-munching ways? Because that idyllic country vista,  sheep peacefully grazing the land, just makes you want to eat one? Weird call, Air New Zealand.

And second, the lady on everyone's lip: Sarah Palin, potential first female VP of the US. Wearing a fur stole, speaking to a group of ... vikings. The US presidential race is so much more interesting than our boring little election, don't you think?

  • Introducing Holly Brooker

Hey, I’m Holly Jean and am excited to blog my way through 2010. I am a typical 28-year-old urban girl trying to live a little bit greener for the sake of my health, the environment, and my pocket. One of my sisters is a true greenie who knows the ins and out of every chemical and toxin on earth, and thinks its a bit of a joke that I’m an eco-advocate. The joke part is that I’m a total urban girl who loves the hustle and bustle of city life.
