Put it in the diary
"By scheduling tasks, you'll be less inclined to avoid or forget them. Decide which cleaning tasks need to be done every day, every week, or on a less frequent schedule. You'll spend less time thinking about what you have to do and have more time to do it."—Linda Hammond
Bulk buy
"Just a reminder about bulk bin stores like Bin Inn for those who use vinegar, baking soda, washing soda etc. We don't have Bin Inn in Wellington, but when I travel to Hawkes Bay to visit family I always take empty bottles for vinegar and containers for the others and I stop off at at Bin Inn in Masterton to stock up on supplies ... Feels great not to have to keep accumulating containers and packaging!"—Debbie ter Borg
Floral floors
"When I trained to become an aromatherapist in the UK we were given a great tip, to clean your kitchen floors with a few drops of juniper essential oil in warm water. It works like a dream and in ten years I have never used anything else on my sparkling kitchen floors, and the smell is divine too!"—Vicky Hayward-Furness
