Don't slip over!
"To keep your shower curtain bottoms free of mildew, coat with baby oil."—Alison Donley
Blind cleaning the blind
"Venetian blinds: aagh! Soak them in lukewarm water in the bath, then wipe each slat wearing a pair of fabric gardening gloves. Hang blinds over bath to dry."—Alison Donley
Tip-top stove top
"Make a bicarbonate of soda shaker by pricking holes in the top of a jar and filling the jar with bicarb soda. Shake the bicarb all over the stove top and then spray with white vinegar. Leave overnight then wipe off—the bicarb-vinegar reaction will dissolve any grease and the bicarb will act as an abrasive to clean off any cooking spills. Leaves your stove top shiny without harmful chemicals around your food prep area."—Sophie Ward
