Let Sanitarium know Kiwis want organic Weet-Bix too!

Weet-Bix: about as essentially Kiwi as jandals and pavlova. When Good reader Janeen Page noticed Sanitarium only makes organic Weet-Bix available in Australia, she decided to let them know organic Kiwi kids are Weet-Bix kids, too.

So Janeen asked Sanitarium what the deal was and was told the marketing team was about to discuss this very issue.

She was also advised that customer demand could influence the decision, so Janeen set about creating a Facebook group to encourage others to contact Sanitarium and request organic Weet-Bix.

Check out Janeen's Facebook group and let Sanitarium know you want Organic Weet-Bix on Kiwi shelves!

I would love to see Sanitarium Organic Weet-Bix in NZ. I have always been disturbed to read the results of the NZFSA food residues surveillance programme which reports the presence of pesticide residues in virtually all wheat-based products (that are not organic) - see http://www.nzfsa.govt.nz/science/research-projects/food-residues-surveillance-programme/

I would certainly buy organic Weet-bix for my family ahead of weet-bix grown with chemical inputs. Please give NZers the choice.
