Christmas Cooks Punch

1/3 Blood Orange Juice
1/3 Cranberry Juice
1/3 Vodka

Pour over ice cubes with Cranberries frozen inside.  Easisets to make in a big jusg with a litre of each

In our household this is for the Christmas cooks to keep them going during the marathon of Christmas cooking.; it makes the day whizz by!  Surprisingly by the  time you sit down to eat all is fab in the cooks world.

Cheers

Gotta be fruity - either smoothly tropical Mango Margaritas (with a sugar rimmed glass) or a freshly made Strawberry Daiquiri with fruit straight from the garden. All served by the jugful, naturally!

I will be partaking of some home made red wine tomorrow night, so that will be a new one for me! If it's hot pear cider is great, if it's a bit cooler, a nice glass of merlot (NZ of course!).

A fruit punch which can then have bubbles, win, cider, vodka etc added for those who want alcohol thus most tastes catered for. Take a lge bottle of orange juice, add smaller amount of pineapple and mango juice, some lemonade and ginger ale then the secret ingredient, strong cold tea which gives punch the zing. Make a large iceblock out of lemonade in a bowl of strawberries and add to mix. (iceblocks out of water dilute the mixture) You can float slices of lemon, orange, mint leaves on top. Being non alcoholic the kids can share as well and think they are very grown up.
