Mystified about what exactly to feed the little ones? Nature Baby and Auckland naturopath Natural Ange have teamed up to answer all your questions! Read on for the details of their free event on May 8 – plus how to win one of these limited edition bibs!

Love this limited edition Nature Baby All Good organic cotton bib? Two ways to win: leave a comment below to go in the draw for one of 10 we've got to give away ... OR be one of the first 30 people at Nature Baby's free event below.

Nature Baby and All Good Bananas have teamed up to host a special in-store mash up with naturopath Natural Ange to offer parents a natural approach to food and feeding.

Introducing your child to food, new flavours and the experience of eating should be a fun and explorative experience. Parents can often be mystified by the dos and don’ts, ages and stages and debate of purees versus finger foods, associated with feeding babies and toddlers.

To help demystify the experience, Natural Ange will be in store at Nature Baby Grey Lynn on Tuesday 8 May at 11am during Fairtrade Fortnight. All mums and dads are welcome to come down to the free talk with Grey Lynn’s resident naturopath and regular on 95bFm’s Morning Glory programme.

“We wanted to offer parents a natural approach to feeding – looking at how to make sure they get the right nutrients, explore a range of tastes and, above all, ensure everyone enjoys the whole experience,” says Nature Baby’s Georgia Faull.

Ange has a wealth of knowledge from her background as a nurse and naturopath and as a mum herself. She will share her ideas and inspiration on how to keep food fresh, nourishing and fun. She will also look at the difference between conventional and organic options and the importance of wholefoods in young diets.

As a special bonus, the first 30 attendees will receive a free limited edition Nature Baby All Good organic cotton bib.

Before the event, people can tweet their questions or post them on Nature Baby's Facebook wall.

Kokako Organic will also be there dishing up Fairtrade banana bread and hot chocolate!

For those who can’t make it to the store, Ange will also be doing a live chat with parents on Nature Baby's Facebook page later the same day.

We just started our wee boy on solids and he loves it! I love going to the farmers' market and buying yummy fruits and veges to turn into baby food at home. The variety of fresh foods gives him a great start to healthy eating habits now and for the future.

Love the bib.  Just what our godchild will be needing for her first child.  Along with all the tips on food and eating.  What a shame this is only in Auckland.

My best friend's bub has just started solids, Its so so cool to see her trying all sorts of new tastes and textures. She now wants everything we have (although sometimes this CANT happen). And of course with more interesting things going in, more interesting things are coming out!

Hi there, just wondering if Ange advocate mastication as an introduction to solids? I won't be able to attend the talk as I'll be at work but am interested in finding out other people's opinion on the subject. Thanks!

I would LOVE a new bib for my 6 month old who is about to embark on the big wide world of food.  Especially loving getting local produce (meat from our local butcher and fruit and veges from our local orchards) to give our little cherub the best start :)

Cute as bib! Our gorgeous wee girl would look so cute wearing it :) She is just over 3 mths old and we are starting to think about solids and looking for greener alternatives for all the necessities - bibs, highchair, bowls & cutlery etc. Her Daddy is also busy in the garden growing some of the veges we will start her on :)
