If you want to make this Valentine's Day truly memorable, you and someone special could give a gift that’s truly from your heart

The New Zealand Blood service is currently looking for couples to make donations.

Each donation made has the potential to save up to three lives. Your donation could one day be used to save the life of a friend, family member or your partner.

There’s another side to it too. Not only are you giving the gift of life to a stranger ... but don’t forget your significant other will think you’re a wonderful person for doing so!

It isn’t uncommon for friends, family members or co-workers to make joint donations.

Phone 0800 GIVE BLOOD or visit the website to make an appointment for you and your partner to donate together.
