Pure Golden Jojoba

Pure Golden Jojoba is grown on the Jojoba company’s own farm in Australia’s Riverina district. The jojoba crop is carbon negative – each hectare of jojoba grown in Australia absorbs 1.66 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere. The golden liquid jojoba in our bottles comes from a small brown jojoba bean. These beans simply fall from the shrub when fully mature and dry naturally under the skirt of the plant. They are then carefully and gently cold-pressed to release the pure golden liquid wax. Jojoba is naturally antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, hypo-allergenic, analgesic and contains powerful antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E. Pure golden jojoba has the chemical structure similar to wax esters in young human skin sebum and as such it has a unique compatibility to soothe, nourish and moisturise. Jojoba on skin mixes with sebum and follows the pathways down to skin cell and matrix level. Jojoba supports the functionality of skin pores and hair follicles and is used to treat skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, cradle cap, nappy rash, stretchmarks and scars. Jojoba is suitable for all ages and skin types and can be applied directly to wet or dry skin. On application to skin, jojoba moisturises and protects lips, face, hands, cuticles, body and hair leaving skin and hair smooth and silky.
