Blackberry Whip

Refreshing and delicious, treat yourself to our sin-free, all-natural iced dessert.

With summer is in sight, there’s nothing quite like a refreshing bowl of Blackberry Whip. This super quick and easy recipe, packed full of natural ingredients, is perfect for a mid-afternoon snack.

The hero ingredient is blackberries, which are high in vitamin C. Eat them to boost dull skin and fight premature ageing. Vitamin C helps with boosting collagen. It’s important to remember that looking youthful is not all about the lotions and potions you apply to the outside of your skin. What goes on in the inside matters a lot, too.

Blackberry Whip

Serves 2

2 frozen bananas (skins removed)
1¼ cup frozen blackberries
1 cup ice
½ cup almond milk
drizzle of maple syrup
½ tsp cinnamon

Slice the bananas – I often break them up just using my fingers – and throw them into a blender. Place the rest of the ingredients into the blender and blitz until smooth. I usually only blend for about 20 seconds. Don’t blend for too long or the ingredients will start to melt and the mixture will lose its ice cream-like texture. Top with your fave topping or enjoy as is – this recipe is absolutely delicious on its own.
