Wellington life coach and author Jess Stuart has gathered together four of her colleagues to host a one-off ‘Women Supporting Women’ event. at the Rydges Hotel Wellington on Saturday 27 October 2018. Tickets go on sale on the 19th September 2018.
To celebrate 125 years of women’s suffrage the first 125 tickets will be given away for FREE! Daughters aged 12 to 19 can attend for free.
This collaboration aims to help inspire and empower women to overcome the challenges we face and be our best. With a focus on helping our daughters in the process with similar struggles – imposter syndrome, comparison, self-doubt, authenticity, confidence, social media and technology usage as well as self-care, self-love and resilience to enable us to live a life full of meaning and purpose and be our best.
In her coaching programmes, Stuart refers frequently to the concept of impostor syndrome, which describes individuals who are unable to internalise their accomplishments and live with a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud". According to a study in the International Journal of Behavioral Science, an estimated 70 per cent of people feel this way, and this event will provide women with tips and tricks to overcome these feelings and feel empowered to make changes.
