Ways to show support for the Christchurch mosques shooting victims

Find a service or live-stream of the National Remembrance Service near you to remember those who lost their lives or were injured in the March 15 Christchurch mosques shooting.

We’re sending our love and solidarity to the victims and the victims’ families. It’s hard to process this act of terrorism against the muslim community, but we can continue to show our support. We’ve put together a list of places around the country to view the National Remembrance Service.

National Remembrance Service

A service is to be held at Christchurch’s Hagley Park on Friday 29 March from 10am. This will be televised on TVNZ and live-streamed online.

Where you can go around the country to show your support

Auckland
To attend the live-stream of the call to prayer and remembrance service, people are being asked to arrive at 1.15pm for the 1.35pm call to prayer. The National Remembrance Service will run from 2.30pm. 

Hamilton
You can vie the live-stream at Claudelands Arena, with doors opening at 8.30am.

Tauranga
Head to Trustpower Baypark Arena from 9.30am to watch the National Remembrance Service.

Palmerston North
Head to the The Square to watch the live-stream from 10am.

Wellington
Head to Waitangi Park to watch the live-stream, with gates opening at 9am.

Blenheim
A live-stream will be played at the ASB Theatre with doors opeing at 9am.

Dunedin
The live-stream will play at Dunedin Town Hall from 9.30am.
