Get your hands on a stylish and limited-edition rain saver this New Zealand Fashion Week in August.
In celebration of all things fashion in the lead up to New Zealand Fashion Week, the restaurants on North Wharf down at Wynyard Quarter in Auckland have partnered with Blunt Umbrellas and some NZFW designers to create some limited edition designer umbrellas. Top NZFW designers Harman Grubiša and Huffer have each created an umbrella to celebrate winter and fashion down at Auckland’s stunning waterfront.
If you are eating at any North Wharf restaurants during the month of August you can go in the draw to win one of the money can’t buy umbrellas. The stylish rain saviors will also be available throughout NZ Fashion Weekend as loan umbrellas, adding a fashionable edge to North Wharf’s excellent cuisine and exceptional views.
Iconic Kiwi clothing brand Huffer, have bought their unique combination fashion and functionality to their tounge and cheek umbrella design.
“We have a unique attitude within the industry, and don’t take ourselves too seriously with a cheeky, ironic and confident personality, poking fun at the often pretentios fashion industry, while still having a seat at the table,” says founder Steve Dunstan.
The collaboration cements North Wharf’s position as ‘the’ place to be and dine this winter, with Wynyard Quarter also home to New Zealand Fashion Week from August 22-26, and New Zealand Fashion Weekened, which is open to the general public from August 27th with a range of amazing designer shows, the beauty hub and the designer pop-up sale.
Housing 10 established eateries and bars, North Wharf serves up something for everyone with a mix of internation cuisine, craft beers and tapas.
