Knitting – it’s not something everyone has had experience of, so here’s a great introduction to knitting , plus some of the best alternative knitting projects available online. Don’t forget to send us pictures of your creations!
What you will need:
Two knitting needles and some wool of your choice.
Your needle size and the wool you use will directly effect the output. So the smaller the needle and the finer the wool, the smaller the finer the product.
If you buy a pattern it will tell you what wool and needles to use. Want to make a chunky knit? Go for big needles and thick thread.
Wool shops should have scanes that will tell you what needles to use if you’ve found a wool you like, otherwise ask a shop assistant.
