Classic Margherita Pizza

A classic – sure to satisfy your pizza cravings and simple to make too.

Dough for 1 medium-sized thin crust pizza base 
1/4 cup tomato pizza sauce 
125g fresh mozzarella, sliced. We used mozzarella from Massimos
2 medium tomatoes, sliced handful of fresh basil, roughly torn pepper to taste 

Preheat oven 240°C. If you have pizza stone, place it in the oven as it preheats. 

Roll pizza dough out on a lightly floured surface. Spread out tomato pizza sauce. Drizzle with olive oil. Top with mozzarella cheese slices and a sprinkling of basil leaves. 

Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the crust if lightly browned and the cheese is bubbling. 

Remove from the own and top with another scattering of fresh basil and grind of pepper.
