Adding aroma to your living spaces

Director and designer of Abbey Rose candles Mary Gordon shares her advice on adding fragrances to the different spaces in your home.

Living Room

A beautiful fragrance with a rich combination of scents such as white musk and patchouli is perfect for a living room as it creates a relaxing and welcoming environment that men and women alike are drawn to.

Kitchen

Kitchen candles help mask kitchen smells, a citrus based candle will cut through cooking smells and create a fresh and uplifting atomosphere. I light my candle prior to starting cooking and leave it burning for a couple of hours to help remove any unwanted odours.

Bathroom

A lovely blend with an earthy base and sweet top notes will freshen up any bathroom. I love to spray a room spray on my towels in the bathroom for a lingering affect.

Recommended: Abbey Rose Fig Room Spray

Bedroom

A floral fragrance will create an air of romance and having this in a diffuser is a great way to have a subtle fragrance in your bedroom that creates a feeling of luxury and sheer indulgence.

Recommended: Abbey Rose Red Roses Diffuser
