‘Homemade’ spring cleaning

Replace your chemical-based cleaning products and send germs and grime packing this spring – with a popular pantry staple.

Trusted household name and favourite DYC Vinegar have released a ‘Spring Clever Cleaning Guide’ for the three months of spring – Inspiring the cleaning crackdown on your home.

In time for ‘spring cleaning’, DYC has launched a new room by room Cleaning Guide using “homemade cleaner” recipes suitable for cleaning everything from ovens and stainless steel appliances through to skirting boards, venetian blinds, tile grout and joinery.

The guide includes directions for cleaning as well as recipes for cleaners for different duties, that can be easily created at home. DYC Vinegar is the regular ingredient, followed by added extras from around the house such as oranges, baking soda and dishwashing liquid.

After a simple online sign up the spring cleaning guide can be right at your fingertips. The tips and tricks surround particular rooms of the home and where the hidden areas may be, as well as which homemade formulas to use.

DYC were inspired as in November last year Consumer New Zealand found kiwis were spending too much money on expensive household cleaners, where homemade batches would have done the trick.
