Introducing Re-Aleph

Over a billion units of packaging are produced each year by the cosmetics industry, most using materials on a path to landfill.

Natural cosmetics brand Aleph has challenged this take-make-dispose model by designing out waste in their products, packaging, formulas and business model.

In the lead up to Earth Day on April 22 Aleph has taken it a step further with the launch of Re-Aleph.

This is how it works…

Collect 5 jars or bottles and give them a wash. Drop off at a stockist or send them back to Aleph. Aleph’s industrial sanitiser makes them clean as new, and they are then sent to the manufacturing plant ready for new product to go back into circulation, closing the loop.

By cycling glass packaging back through the product loop Aleph aim to increase the possible usage in a single jar and decrease the amount of materials needed to produce new jars.

We love that!
