Good style muse Jessica shares her tried and tested recipe for chocolate chip cookies. They’re perfect for baking, then devouring during the lockdown!
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2/4 cup butter, melted (115g)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar (granulated)
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Melt butter. Combine dry ingredients in one bowl.
Add brown sugar and white sugar to the melted butter and beat until smooth. Add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and add half of the chocolate chips.
Leave dough in the fridge for an hour.
Pre-heat oven to 175 degrees and bake for about 13 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven when the tops are just the tiniest bit shiny.
