As editor of Good magazine I feel incredibly lucky, and purposeful, every day. The fact that I get to work for a title that stands for everything I believe in, including being kind to the Earth and others, is at the top of my daily gratitude list. I’ve done a daily gratitude list for years. Sometimes I write it down. Sometimes I do the list in my head or say it out loud as I drive to work. It’s a practise that never fails to make my day better. Talking long walks in nature, tending to my vegetable garden and doing yoga also keeps me grounded and connected, while enjoying a tipple of good wine is one of my favourite ways to relax. Travel and photography are also big passions of mine. I see picture compositions wherever I go, even on walks around the neighbourhood, and delight in framing a beautiful photo or capturing a moment. It’s fair to say I’m a little obsessed with Instagram, too!

I love being a part of Good magazine and working with such a passionate team who are helping us all live more consciously. My role is to look after the commercial side of Good, which means I get to connect with brands of all sizes that are making sustainable decisions for the good of the planet. It’s amazing to see. In my spare time I love stay active but balanced – cooking, eating out and enjoying a good tipple are all essential for my positive mental health!

When I’m not designing the pages of Good, you’ll usually find me strumming away on my guitar in the sunshine with a cup of tea in hand in an effort to stay “zen” and unwind. I find balance through boxing, I’m an amateur boxer which keeps my mind and body fighting fit. I enjoy doing my bit to be environmentally friendly and helping others in the positive ways I can – Good encourages that which is why I love working here!

My role at Good is to monitor and post content for the Good website and social media channels, I’ve learnt so much about the eco and sustainability world in the time I’ve been working here. In my spare time you can usually find me bouldering or rock climbing, enjoying some tasty wine or simply sitting on the couch reading my favourite book series – Lord of the Rings!
