Stir your creativity with these at-home classes: jelly, perfume, sculpting and paint

Bombay Sapphire has a new Stir Creativity series of events on the horizon and having attended a test-run we can absolutely attest that this is a lot of fun!

Creativity Lab also allows you to unleash your imagination in the comfort of your own home with a curated workshop from one of four local creators.

The Creativity Labs are a collection of at-home, online experiences hosted by talented New Zealand based artists Rosie Holt, Jess Mentis, Helen Emmett and Olivia Dobrowolski. Each Lab is curated to allow you to showcase your talent, explore and experiment whilst sipping on your own cocktail creation.

After purchasing a lab kit for your chosen experience, you will receive supplies for two, giving you the opportunity to explore your own creative streak at home.

These kits, developed between expert mixologists and each of the four talented local creators, contain all the required elements to engage in the chosen craft from the comfort of your own home, with each experience streamed for live participation. You can also utilise the ingredients included to create a bespoke Bombay Sapphire cocktail, inspired by each craft.

Immerse yourself in a Perfume Playground

Ignite the senses as experienced perfumer, Rosie Holt, guides the group through the botanical landscape of blending their own scent. Guests will learn how to smell and pair ingredients, all while creating their own perfumed cocktail garnish. Cocktail inclusion: Scented & Sapphire

Experience jelly-craft with The Jellyologist

Tap into the mind of expert jelly artist, Jess Mentis, as creativity and cocktails collide in this jelly experience. Guests will be provided the opportunity to become a bonafide jelly architect as they create a gin-jelly creation and a Bombay Sapphire cocktail. Cocktail inclusion: Jelly & Juniper

Create the spirit of the cocktail with Paintvine

Capture the spirit of a creative cocktail via the medium of watercolour and a masterclass with the experts in all things paint. The result? An exploration of creative expression on watercolour paper, accompanied with a bespoke edible paint cocktail. Cocktail inclusion: Painted & Perfect

Sculpt the perfect night in with Sunday Studio

Setting the scene for nights to come, participants will sculpt their own unique polymer clay candlestick holder with artist and designer, Olivia Dobrowolski. Guests will then be able to enjoy their signature Bombay Sapphire cocktail by candlelight. Cocktail inclusion: Sherbet & Shaper

If that wasn’t enough, Bombay Sapphire will be extending the creativity to multiple bars across Auckland. The ideal way to extend the fun post-Lab session.

Tickets for The Creativity Lab will be on sale from Friday 15th January for $40 for two people. The Creativity Lab by Bombay Sapphire sessions will run from Wednesday 10th – Saturday 20th February 2021.
