Scapegrace have announced the launch of Scapegrace Vodka, representing the premium New Zealand spirit brand’s first extension into a category beyond gin.
The vodka is made in Canterbury, boasting characteristics from a wheat-based neutral grain spirit and 100% artisanal waters. What is unique about this New Zealand made Vodka is that the aquifer water does not need to undergo a number of distillations to remove any pollutants, meaning the characteristics of the wheat and water are able to speak for themselves, as well as retaining the water’s high mineral content.
This honest and simple approach by Scapegrace gives the vodka a unique profile; it is thick, high in viscosity, creamy, and slightly sweet. Some even say its creamy taste is reminiscent of pavlova!
