The 2018 World Fairtrade Challenge takes place May 11-13, and here’s how you can get involved to #Stand4Fairness
Will you choose Fairtrade and #Stand4Fairness?
Millions of farmers who produce the food we eat don’t earn enough to feed their own families. You can help change this. The World Fairtrade Challenge kicks off this Friday and runs across the weekend all around the world.
The Challenge encourages people to raise awareness to help ensure the people who grow the products we love can receive fair wages and can build better lives for themselves and their communities.
How to get involved
Get social. Over the 11th-13th illustrate why you #Stand4Fairness by making the shape ‘4’ with your legs, fingers, your friends, your Fairtrade products – whatever you like. Post it on your social platforms using the hashtag #Stand4Fairness.
You can even host an event, with your friends, neighbours, colleagues – whoever, to celebrate Fairtrade and the farmers who produce the products you love. Gather some of your favourite Fairtrade products (chocolate, coffee, bananas…) and support the Fairtrade movement.
